MAXIMIZE 2017

First of all I wanna thank God for a Happy New Year 2017 and I Celebrate you for making it this far.
Welcome to 2017.
I want to start off the year by placing a few thoughts in your mind which I believe would help you set some perspective for this brand new year so you can maximize all that God has in it for you, your career, your business or company, your marriage & family and all that concerns your life.
We've began already a journey that involves:
● 12 Months
● 52 Weeks
● 365 Days
● 8,760 Hours
● 525,600 Minutes
● 3,153,600 Seconds.
All this numbers represents an invinsible irreplaceable scares comodity called TIME.
Life is measured by TIME or to say it another way: Life can be measured not by the length of life lived in years over TIME but most importantly it can be measured by the Value given to the CONTENT of the Life lived within those year's over time.
So it's not about how Long you live but how Well you live over time.

You'd be correct to say that we're stucked in Time and how it's being used or maximized is up to us.
Here's a quick perspective a'd like to present to you that'll help you make 2017 your best year ever.
Time actually measures life in second's, minutes, hours, days ,weeks, months and years.
Taking cognizance of these consciousness will help you keep track of your Time and ultimately maximize your life in 2017.

Truth is that, TIME runs at the speed with LIFE, therefore TIME wastage equals LIFE wastage.
Facts has it that, 95% if not 99% of people starts every New Year with "Resolutions" that would enable them have a fruitful year ahead but the truth is that those resolutions do not make it through January or maybe February at most.
Let's brake this pattern if you may.

I believe the best approach to solving any problem is tracing the little details that constitute the problem itself which may not add up but ultimately do in the end.
Most people fail in keeping to their resolutions not because they decided to violet them but because they lost track of an important factor that counts the most in fulfilling their set goals for the year . The factor here is TIME.

God created TIME and placed us in it so that we can live life in doses.
Time is so powerful that whatever you spend it doing, you become.
TIME can only be use or maximize but can't be stopped.
TIME measures life.
Time measures life in Mornings, Noon, Afternoon and Evenings.
Time measures life in yesterday, today and tomorrow.
Time measures life in day and night.
Time measures life in seasons as in Autumn, Spring , Summer and Winter.
Every human on planet earth is given the same ration of time a day as in 24 hours, not more or less.

How 2017 turns out to be is directly dependent on how you would manage the next 3,153,600 Seconds starting now.
Here are a few thoughts you might want to hold on to tenaciously:
*Take absolute ownership and control of your time, I mean every second of it .
*Convert it into an opportunity to fulfill your Purpose.
*Design and Manage how it's being used.
*Guard and protect it from abuse by you or others .
*Allocate a focus to it.
*Attach a Vision to it and give it meaning.
*Give it a Purpose to run with.
*Constantly check and measure it results periodically.
Outside these, Time wastage will be inevitable.

In other to achieve this,you have to;
*Document a concert plan that cover the entire 2017 and beyond.
*Narrow the plan down to smaller achievable details.
*Prioritize your plans in order of importance.
*Protect your plan and priorities.
*Identity possible challenges and prepare for them.
*Pursue your passion only and focus on doing what's Right at all times.
*Make decisions based on destiny.
*Inventory your associations and see who's wasting your time.
*Review your investments of time periodically to make adjustments.
*Do not try to please everyone,it encourages time wastage: do what you have to do as long as it pleases God.
*Forget the past and deal with the present while planning and having tomorrow think for itself.
*Disengage relationships & friendships that are detrimental to achieving your plans & goals.
* Make provisions and plan for resources necessary to ensure the achievement of the set goals.
*Stay conscious to know when it's time to move from planning to acting on the plan.
*Pray it through for God's approval, because many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it the Lord's purpose that will prevail.
*Above all else make a deliberate conscious effort to give God more of your TIME this year than you did last year, you'd be surprise how much He will replenish the time back to your favor.

###APPRECIATE YOUR TIME###
###FULFILL YOUR TIME###
###MAKE IT COUNT ###
###APPROPRIATE YOUR TIME###
###VALUE YOUR TIME###
###MAXIMIZE IT###
###MANAGE IT###
###MAKE IT PRODUCTIVE ###
###TREASURE YOUR TIME###

Happy New Year.

THE PARADOX OF CHRISTMAS

It's more blessed to give than to receive the scripture say's.
But giving as a gesture of Love isn't complete without the recipient receiving it,
RECEIVING makes GIVING complete.
It's possible to Accept a gift and not Receive it
It's possible to Accept a meal and not Eat it.
It's possible to Accept a drink and not Drink it.
It's possible to Accept money and not Spend it.
It's possible to Accept a Life and not Experience it.
It's possible to Accept CHRIST and not Know Him.
It's important to not confuse Giving by itself because Accepting the package isn't equal to receiving the gift.

In other words it's even possible to receive a gift and not open it and make it yours.
It's time for us all to realligne our mind's to the True  Essence & the Significance of this season "CHRISTMAS".
Could it be that we're too excited about the fun & the Merriment that comes with the Season that we forget the Reason for the Season!!!

Let's pause and understand WHY Christmas is necessary for us as BELIEVERS or better still God's Original intent for you and I from the beginning before the fall of mankind.

Let me begin by setting perspectives herein that, God's perfect plans for you and I from the beginning of creation with reference to  Genesis chapter one & two was...
♥ To make a Creature that looks just like Himself with His image.

♥ God being Love had to Love, so in order for love to be complete there must be a recipient and the recipient has to be just like the giver, so God fashioned us(Man) after His likeness breath His Spirit into us so He can fellowship with man Spirit to Spirit.

♥ God further proofed His Love for mankind by extending His Authority to us to Rule and Dominate over every work of His creation, I could almost hear God saying though the Earth is mine and all that dwells therein but Son I want you to have it, Work the ground and make it yield fruits, cultivate it and every deposit in it, take care of it, protect & guard it, in order words you're in charge of this extension of my Kingdom, make it look like Heaven.

♥God also had to give mankind the power of Will to decide and make decisions concerning the Dominion Mandate given to him by God, I believe the Power of Will was given to Man (Adam) so he would have to take absolute Responsibility for the Garden of Eden which was the perfect Environment God designed so he could function adequately.

♥To show how much of a father God is He usually  comes down to fellowship and commune with Man (Adam) just to show His Love for him, walk and talk with man at the cool of the day in the Garden of Eden. Man had direct access to God.

♥God's original intent was also to Rule the earth through Man so that the earth can be filled with His Glory (God's Nature) even as the water's covers the sea.

♥God's intent was to make the Earth look just like Heaven, that's why if you pay attention to the Lord's Prayer in Mathews"...Jesus said when you want to Pray , pray that God's Kingdom should come and His will be done on Earth just like it is in Heaven which is our home country..."Emphasis added.

♥God intended to rule the seen (Terrestrial or Earth) from the unseen (Celestial or Heaven). This I believe was God's plan to reign and establish His Principles and precepts on Earth. To establish His Kingdom on earth and rule the earth through Man.

♥ God finally gave man(Adam) an instruction that I believe was in man's best interest that he should eat of every fruit in the Garden except that of the tree of Good and Evil because it will compromise his relationship with Him.But since God had already given man the Power of Will, the devil in form of a serpent ended up deceiving man to exercising the Power of Will God gave man, and man decided to violet God Principles & Instructions and from that moment just like God promised man, Man ( Adam) lost his relationship with God and he died a Spiritual death and God sent man (Adam) away from the Garden of Eden(His Presence). From that moment the Spirit of God left the Earth and the Bible make us understand that through one man (Adam) sin entered the entire human race, and the wages of sin is death.

So as loving as God is, being the Alpha and the Omega the beginning and the end, being a God that doesn't start until He finishes, being a God that sees the end from the beginning, He had already made plans to restore Mankind back to Himself as it were from the beginning. God had to send Himself to the human race in human form to pay the price of our sins, that's why the Scriptures says..."He who new no sin became Sin just to redeem us from our iniquities"...Emphasis added. In the last book of the four Gospel In the New Testament,...God declared His mind thus:"For God so Loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life, and He didn't not send the Son into the world to condemn the world but to saved the world through Him"...This is indeed the greatest act of love ever shown.

In essence the privileges together with the Dominion(KINGDOM) Mandate given to mankind by God in Genesis One verses Twenty-six through Thirty were lost the moment man rebelled against God's instructions.
This is why Christmas is a thing of Joy to us all and greatest gift ever given and the greatest act of Love ever shown so that we can be Restored back to His Original plans for our lives.

Therefore I consider Christmas to be:
● The Celebration of the Greatest Gift ever given to Humanity.
● Heaven given to Earth.
● Divinity given to Humanity.
● Light given to Darkness.
● Life given to Death.
● Forgiveness given to Sin.
● Healing given to Sickness.
● God given to Mankind.
● God's Spirit restored to mankind.
● God's Love restored to mankind.
● The Birth of Our Messiah- The  Anointed KING.
● God's Redemption plan made manifest to Mankind as He promised through His prophet Isaiah that this will be the Sign: That a Virgin will be with a child and will give birth to a Son, and will call him IMMANUEL" meaning "God with Us" and he shall be the Savior of the world. "For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given:and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
● Christ Jesus the King was God's GIFT given to Man.
● The KINGDOM OF HEAVEN was Christ Jesus The KING'S GIFT to Mankind on Earth.
The GIFT was the Son "Jesus CHRIST" Inside Christ is the SPIRIT OF GOD. Jesus came bringing the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN back to Mankind as explained in Romans Fourteen verses Seventeen-Eighteen.." For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Spirit..." YOU CAN TELL WHAT ADAM LOST BY WHAT JESUS BROUGHT,...that's THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN BACK TO MANKIND.
Merry Christmas!!!

The significance of the birth of Jesus is more important than the date as in Today 25th December.
I feel it's important for us to pay attention also to the REASON WHY God had to come into the human race in human form, that must have took God so much that it's only LOVE that can explain everything.

Believe me I'm not trying to convince you out of whatever doctrine or faith you may have been thought or perhaps learnt while growing up as a Christian but my Bible tells me that..."You shall know the TRUTH and nothing but only the TRUTH shall set you free and the Truth is in God's Word.."

So I believe it in my heart that this is what Christmas should be all about.Yes there's nothing wrong with showing kindness to one another in form of gift and other presents, LOVE after-all was and still is the motivation and God's intent for the Redemption of mankind back to His Original plans as it were from the beginning.

But while doing that, don't loose sight of the Reason for the Season...The gift of CHRIST THE ANOINTED KING to mankind to restore us back to God.

The price for redeeming us is JESUS on the cross paying for our sins, make it count by Accepting and Receiving this Awesome Gift of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ The Anointed KING of which we're celebrating His Birth this Season.

This Christmas is the beginning of the end of the finished work recorded in the book of Revelations..."Behold the Lamb of God that was Slain before the foundations of the World..."He paid the price long ago, it's left for you to receive it.

So I charge you to follow the word's of Jesus that I believe captures THE REASON WHY HE CAME TO EARTH, it's recorded in Mathews Six verse Thirty - three..."Seek first the Kingdom of God and it RIGHTEOUSNESS and all other things shall be added to you. ..
"In Luke chapter four verse fouty-three Jesus also declared His Purpose here on earth..."I must preach the good news (Gospel) of the KINGDOM OF GOD to other towns as well: for I was sent for this Purpose..."

Friends it's all about God's Kingdom being established on Earth through you "THE NEW CREATION IN CHRIST"
Therefore for this Christmas celebration to be complete just like the Law of Giving demands as emphasized at the beginning, you have to Receive Christ into your life so that the Holy Spirit can begin to teach you about God's Kingdom together with God's Principles embedded in His Word, the Bible.

Jesus speaking in John chapter Three verse three..."Truly, Truly, I say to you, unless one is Born Again, he can not see the Kingdom of God..." In confessing Romans Chapter ten verses Nine - Ten,  you have made the giving process complete. And your status automatically will change to that of Second Corinthians Chapter Five verses Seventeen-Twenty-one.
Merry Christmas!!!

INVEST IN YOUR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

Let's talk about YOU...Yes about You if you may.
Think of this cinario: How do you feel knowing that your Apps on your phone is an outdated version?
I bet there's always this swift action to immediately run an update in Google Play store or Apple Store because you can't stand operating less a version of the latest, now that's a phone: Can you say the same about your Personal Development and your life at large!
How much information is at your disposal lately and how updated is it with respect to were you're going in life. Are you running your life with outdated information!
Keeping pace with life, you have to constantly be the latest version of yourself.
Because your life can only move or geared towards the direction of your most dominant thoughts .
This I mean the quality of your thoughts.
Your life is the sum total of your thought processes, nothing more or less.
So you'd be perfectly correct to say that between were you're currently and were you need to be in life is directly dependent on two things: Getting the wrong information you shouldn't (Misinformed) or Not getting the right and necessary information you should(Uninformed ).
It's edifying spending time to invest in your mental property, the course of your life depends on it.
It's of a necessity that you believe in yourself and all that God has deposited inside of you, believe it or yes: everything you could ever need to become WHO God had fashioned you to be isn't outside of you but rather it's locked up INSIDE of you.
The earlier you discover what's locked up within you the faster & better your life will turn out to be.
Could it be that God’s waiting on you to wake up to this truth than you wait on Him?...The answer is Yes.
It's OK to believe in people's beliefs of you till your own believe of yourself kicks in....if that's necessary, then take the chance it's a plus to have such people in your life.
But ultimately you've got to trust and believe in yourself, it's the pivot to which every other facet of your life depends on.
Also you've got to purposefully spend quality time updating yourself and your mental property, that will serve as key to unlocking every Potentials buried inside of you, it's what will announce you to the world.
Obviously what's inside of you has a global impact, don't rob us of that deposit within you.
It's sad that we're living in a society that nearly everyone is busy investing precious time on vain things that barely contributes to their self development and conversely spend little or no time trying to evolve and become a better version of themselves.
It's the very VALUE you sale yourself that people get to buy, nothing less but it can be more.
So if you desire to be great and be successful in any area of your life, do not seek success or greatness but rather seek to become VALUABLE in the area of your purpose, automatically SUCCESS & GREATNESS will find you.
Becoming Valuable is achievable by:
● Knowing the reason for your Living "Your purpose in Life"
● Grasping the Vision attached to the Purpose and run with it passionately.
● Constantly be in competition with yourself to be the best of you.
● Consciously making efforts not to be less than you were yesterday.
● Purposefully engage yourself in something that will get you closer to your Goals and Dreams each day.
● Don't be satisfied going to bed without doing something that takes you a step closer to your destiny.
It could be reading a book, listening to music that inspires you, researching about something that got your attention, developing a certain part of your weakness and making it your strength...
In other words... "Plan your Time and Work your Plans".
All of this will add value to your persona.
While doing that remember that You're the sole proprietorship of your time & life, circumstances and people can only play to the tunes you let them, so quit blaming Circumstances and people for your mistakes, it's your mistakes take absolute responsibility for it because that's the only way you can learn from it and become a better version of yourself.
For the fact that you made a mistake or failed while trying isn't a certainty that you can't succeed:resilience, persistence and commitment driven by Passion toward success is what you need.
Failure is an opportunity incubating Success only if you learn from it and make it right the next time.
Strong minds are motivated by failure but not depressed by it, so prepare for it while expecting the best.
Should you say you've not failed before, then I can tell that you've not tried something new in your entire life.
Determine that from this moment onward that you will strive to become the best version of yourself by constantly evolving into that limitless shores of possibilities lying unexplored within you.
You ain't seeing the best of you yet.
You're UNIQUE & VALUABLE, make that a reality.

BE YOURSELF

If you would be sincere to yourself and life at large, somehow you'd realize within and around you that life is more meaningful and worth living the very moment your Spirit , Soul & Body is part of something bigger than your imaginations ( maybe a project @ work, school, church etc) to the point that it gets you so excited and you had this sense of fulfillment or perhaps felt very happy, pleased and accomplished.
The significance of the cinario I just painted is that You were created and designed by God to be part of something so big and greater than your imaginations when He created you.
Something that ultimately would benefit humanity and generations to come.
Something that no other person can accomplish but You.
This also means that there are several projects and assignments yet to be released from within you into the world so as to benefit humanity.

We're currently living in a society that dictates how our lives should be and determines how high we can achieve and how great we should attend, but I can bet the difference because it ain't supposed to be so from the beginning.
God made it that we should control & manage our environments and the society likewise not the other way round.
Obviously many people have been victims of their lives being controlled by WHAT PEOPLE THINK AND SAY of them, and perhaps misguided by some doctrines and traditions that's geared towards limiting their Potentials and tailored to make them comfortable in their predicament and worst of it all, convinced that it's God's will for their lives which is not...This is a serious tragedy of life.
Your live isn't supposed to be controlled by anybody, don't get me wrong it's ok to be inspired positively by someone in form of advice or instructions, that's quite a privilege but still it shouldn't run your life.
The only person that understands your makeup and were you're going is the One who made you, He alone should guide your path to fulfilling the purpose He gave you.
That's why it's important to establish a close relationship with Him through which He will introduce you to yourself, I mean your true nature.

Now let's purse at this point and deal with some truths:
Life's measured by TIME, therefore you'd be correct to say every Time spent equals Life spent.
God’s a God of purpose and Purpose gives meaning to Life.
God is the creator of all things, and He created everything with and for a Purpose.
He also designated a specific time for every Purpose assigned to each individual created.
Keep in mind that the Purpose of every creation of God is sure and can't fail, it stands forever.
You've been around for several decades already, that's a fact.
So I put it to you to wake up to this very reality that you have to start taking charge of your life and make every second in it counts not just by getting BUSY but getting EFFECTIVE in your area of Purpose.
Believe in yourself and do not allow people's opinion of you to become your reality.
All that matters is who and what God say's you are.
The entire journey toward greatness isn't over yet, refuse to settle for less because God has endowed you with a powerful tool called IMAGINATION.
Use it maximally and never stop dreaming BIG.
That He placed it in your heart to dream and envisioned means that it's possible to achieve if you believe it.
And if what He showed you in form of Visions isn't what you're seeing currently, then what you're seeing is Temporarily subject to change, don't loose faith but wait for it appointed time.
You're permitted to celebrate while waiting with thanksgiving for it manifestation.

Indeed my intention is not to challenge you or convict you in anyway but rather I wish that by the time you're done reading this, you would probably reallaigned the course of your life toward becoming WHO God designed you to be and not WHAT the society wants you to be.
Remember that a genuine Vision and Purpose from God will always be opposed by the standards and the norms of the society set by men.
Determine to be yourself against all odds while maintaining a healthy relationship with God and you'd be surprised how amazing your journey toward the fulfillment of your Purpose can be.
Stay unique and be YOU.

THE JOURNEY TOWARD LIFE'S FULFILMENT #4

TIME AND YOUR PURPOSE

God’s creation of man reveals that He desired a time- conscious being with an eternity perspective.
You were born and created for a purpose in God’s plan, and you were given a time to fulfill that purpose. According to the Scriptures, there is a time to every purpose (Ecclesiastes 3:1).

Because we live in time, we measure life in increments of seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, years, etc. But how does God measure and judge the success of your life?
To answer this we must consider that God never intended for us to die.
God’s original purpose and His future plans call for us to live forever.
Therefore, length of years is not the measure of life for God.

Your age does not impress Him.
There are many who believe that old age is a sign of God’s favor and approval.
If this is true, then how do you account for the millions of individuals in countries around the world, and perhaps even in your city, who live beyond one hundred years of age and have no commitment to God? Their life styles incorporate behaviors that are considered to be ungodly.
It is evident that God measures the success, effectiveness and value of your life on earth in terms of purpose.

God’s question is never “How many years have you lived?” or “How old are you?” but rather “What have you done?”
In essence, life is not measured by duration but by donation.
From God’s perspective, “Well done” is more important than “Long lived.”
Jesus understood the important relationship between time and the completion of purpose.
Again and again He instructed people not to move faster in their expectations of Him than God’s perfect timing allowed.

This awareness of God’s purpose for His life as it related to His time on earth is particularly evident in John’s record of the wedding at Cana.
On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee.
Jesus’ mother was there, and Jesus and His disciples had also been invited to the wedding.
When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to Him, “They have no more wine.”
“Dear woman, why do you involve Me?” Jesus replied. “My time has not yet come” (John 2:1-4).

Jesus also displayed this consciousness of time and purpose on many other occasions.
In the twelth chapter of the Gospel of John He says,
The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. …Now My heart is troubled, and what shall I say? “Father, save Me from this hour”? No, it was for this very reason that I came to this hour.
Father, glorify Your name! (John 12:23,27)

He further expresses the relationship of time and timing to purpose in the seventh chapter of John:
Jesus’ brothers said to Him, “You ought to leave here and go to Judea, so that Your disciples may see the miracles You do.
No one who wants to become a public figure acts in secret.
Since You are doing these things, show Yourself to the world.”
For even His own brothers did not believe in Him.
Therefore Jesus told them, “The right time for Me has not yet come; for you any time is right” (John 7:3-6).

Here Jesus’ disciples attempted to influence Him to go public and declare His power and position.
But Jesus refused and stated that there was a right time for every purpose of God and a right timing for it to be released in its fullness.
He further informed them that they had no awareness of the purpose and the proper use of time for their own lives.

Therefore, it is vital for you to capture and maximize the time of your life.
To do this, you must discover your purpose for life and get busy with your assignment.
Every day should be used to account for the fulfillment of God’s dream in your heart.
What have you done with the last year, month or day that you’ve lived?
What can you show to justify that time?
Time was given to you to fulfill your purpose in this life.

Don’t be like Methuselah, of whom it is recorded that he lived 969 years and then died.
That is all we know of his life.
What a tragedy! I admonish you to find your purpose and give time meaning.
As the apostle Paul exhorts: “See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:15-16 NKJV).

Throughout His ministry, glimpses of Jesus’ true nature and glory were visible.
He healed the sick (John 4:43-53, among many), multiplied loaves of bread and fish to feed large crowds (John 6:1-15), walked on the Sea of Galilee (John 6:16-20), and brought sinful people to repentance (John 4:1-42).

As the time for His crucifixion drew near, Jesus acknowledged that His time had come:
Father, the time has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son may glorify You.
For You granted Him authority over all people that He might give eternal life to all those You have given Him.
Now this is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent. I have brought You glory on earth by completing the work You gave Me to do.
And now, Father, glorify Me in Your presence with the glory I had with You before the world began (John 17:1-5).

Time is always given for the completion of purpose.
Whenever time is used for things that do not work toward the given purpose, it is wasted and the opportunity to reach perfection is delayed or lost.
Jesus came to reconnect us with our God-given purpose and the importance of using time to complete that purpose.

His goal was not Calvary but the resurrection, so He could redirect our living from time to eternity.
God has given you an assignment that is so awesome it will take you this life and the life to come to complete it.
He invites you to live by faith, moving with Him beyond the limitations of what you can see, hear and feel at any given moment, so your perspective can move from living for today alone to looking toward eternity.
There’s eternity in your heart because God placed it there.

Knowing your purpose and the time associated with it will allow you to be effective and productive in your living, using the time He gives you for the purpose for which He gave it.
The proper use of time is always dependent on the priority of purpose because time is an interruption in eternity that allows you to fulfill what you were sent here to do.
He who has time to burn will never give the world much light.
Killing time is not murder, it’s suicide.

Take note of the following nuggets:
1. Time starts when we are born and ends when we die.
2. Eternity has neither a beginning nor an end.
3. God, who is eternal, exists outside time.
4. God sees the end from the beginning and sets our course according to His overall purposes.
5. God gives every purpose a time that allows it to reach perfection.
6. Time is always given for a purpose.
7. Time that is not used for its intended purpose is wasted and lost.

Meditate on this scriptural reference so as to maximize your time appropriately..." Teach us to number our days , that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. Psalm 90:12"

THE JOURNEY TOWARD LIFE'S FULFILMENT#3

As awesome as PURPOSE is in its nature, here are its PRIORITIES and PRINCIPLES.

Principle #1—GOD IS A GOD OF PURPOSE.

Every creator or manufacturer begins with purpose.
He first establishes his intent before beginning the process of production.
God is the source of purpose.

Nature is filled with evidence that He determines the purpose for a thing before He creates it.
In other words, God never made anything for the fun of it.
He never created something just to see if He could make it.
Before the creative act ever takes place, God has in His mind the why and the how of what He decides to make.

He does everything with and for a purpose.
Long before God became the Creator, He was planning and designing the many things He would speak into existence.
The intentional nature of God is also seen throughout His interaction with mankind.
He is a God of purpose.

He never acts without first setting the end toward which His actions are directed.
God never creates before He purposes.
It was His purpose that generated all He created and forever established the intent for everything that exists.

Principle #2—EVERYTHING IN LIFE HAS A PURPOSE.

If God is a God of purpose and He created everything, then everything in life has a purpose.
This amazes me. When looking at a roach before killing it and a rat caught in a trap, I wonder that God has a plan and a purpose for each of these creatures.
The lice we detest and the snakes we fear were made by God to fulfill a specific purpose, as were mosquitos, birds and trees.

God took as much time putting together spiders and ants as He did creating butterflies and flowers.
Just because we don’t understand a creature’s purpose doesn’t mean that it is purposeless.
Our reactions of fear or disgust do not negate their reasons for existence, because everything serves a purpose.

In essence, ignorance of purpose does not cancel purpose.
Consequently, everything, no matter how insignificant it may seem, exists for a distinct purpose in the mind of God to serve a greater purpose.
The hairs in your nostrils were carefully designed by God and intentionally placed there for the purpose of trapping bacteria, germs and dust particles, preventing them from contaminating the lungs during inspiration.

The wax in your ears has a purpose.
Your ear glands were created to produce wax to attract and trap dust particles, bacteria and germs before they can enter the delicate inner ear and cause infection.
There is nothing in your body that does not serve a vital purpose, even down to the smallest detail.
This is also true of nature.

Mankind has recently discovered that every animal and every plant was created to balance the ecosystem. Any disruption in its purpose affects everything else.
The ozone layer of the upper atmosphere has recently been discovered to have a critical purpose to perform.
It was designed to help preserve life on our planet by regulating the intensity of the ultraviolet rays from the sun.

The plants themselves absorb the ultraviolet rays of the sun and produce chlorophyll for their food, while releasing oxygen for us to breathe.
Their purpose involves keeping us alive by providing both food and oxygen.
We, in turn, inspire oxygen and expire carbon dioxide, which the plant absorbs to make its food.
Therefore, we need their purpose and they need ours.
It should also be noted that God created nothing for beauty, even though the things He created are beautiful.

Beauty is a by-product of design, not a creature’s intended purpose.
Thus, if God designed the hairs on a bee’s leg to transfer pollen from one flower to another, and placed the hairs in your nostrils and the wax in your ears for a specific purpose, then you must know that He has a purpose for your life.

Principle #3—NOT EVERY PURPOSE IS KNOWN.

Our world is plagued by the desire to have more and more and more.
But having something is not really the most important thing.
Knowing the reason for what you have is much more important.
There are times, however, when the why is not known.

This doesn’t mean that the thing, event or person doesn’t have a purpose; its purpose just isn’t known.
The story of a man named Jonah shows what can happen when purpose is unknown.
The Book of Jonah describes the adventures of a prophet who didn’t want to obey God’s command.
When God told him to go to the Assyrian capital of Ninevah and preach against their wickedness, Jonah disobeyed.

He tried to run away from God by boarding a ship that was sailing in the opposite direction.
While they were at sea, a violent storm nearly broke the ship apart.
The terrified sailors cried for help and threw the cargo overboard to lessen the danger.
Meanwhile, Jonah was sleeping in the hold of the ship.

When the captain found him, he awakened Jonah and told him to pray to his God.
The storm continued to rage until the sailors finally decided to draw lots to see who was to blame for the danger.

The lot fell on Jonah, who then answered their questions saying, “I am a Hebrew and I worship the Lord, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the land” (Jonah 1:9).
Then he described how he was running away from God and told them to throw him into the sea.
Because the sailors were reluctant to follow Jonah’s suggestion, they tried to row to shore.
 But the storm became worse.

Finally, they threw Jonah overboard and the sea became calm.
The sailors’ problem was not the storm, but the unknown purpose of the storm.
Had they known earlier that the storm was God’s means of talking to Jonah, they wouldn’t have wasted so much time trying to save themselves.

Their lack of knowledge didn’t cancel the storm’s purpose.
It just meant they didn’t have the same information Jonah had.
They didn’t know the storm’s purpose.
Unknown purpose always wastes time and gives the possibility of danger.

Principle #4—WHEREVER PURPOSE IS NOT KNOWN, ABUSE IS INEVITABLE.

Abuse occurs whenever we don’t use something according to its creator’s intentions.
In other words, if you don’t know the purpose for something (or you choose to ignore that purpose), you can’t do anything other than abuse it.

No matter how good your intentions may be, they are canceled by your ignorance.
You may be sincere and committed toward your husband, your child or your boss, but your sincerity and commitment cannot make up for your lack of knowledge of their purpose.
Abuse remains inevitable, and you put them in danger.
Thus, when we run into problems with certain aspects of God’s creation, the plant or the animal or the person is not causing the difficulty.

It is our use (or abuse) of that plant, animal or person that gets us into a predicament.
The word abuse means “abnormal use.” Or to say it another way, if you don’t know the proper use for something, you will use it in an erratic and disorderly manner.
Unknown purpose also leads to misuse, which is a stronger form of abuse.
To misuse something means that you miss the intended use.

Although the product has a purpose, you miss knowing it and thus use it for something other than what the creator had in mind when he designed and made it.
If you don’t know the purpose for a baby, you will misuse the child. (We call that child abuse.)
If you don’t know the purpose for money, you will abuse the money.
If you don’t know the purpose for a job, you’ll misuse the job.
If you don’t know the purpose for your mate, you’ll abuse your spouse. (We call that wife abuse or husband abuse.)

It is therefore very important that you either discover the purpose for everything you encounter in life or refrain from using that person or thing until you gain that knowledge.
If, for example, your friend asks you to marry him, but he doesn’t know the purpose of marriage, you would be wise to refuse to marry him until he discovers the God-given purpose for marriage.
Otherwise, he will abuse both marriage and, as a result, you.

Many of us have been victims because others have abused the very things that God Himself created. That’s why it is very important that we not move into marriage, school, a new job, and so forth until we know God’s purpose for giving us that relationship or position.
It is the violation of this principle that is the cause for all our social problems today.
The drug problem is not a substance problem, but a substance abuse problem.
We abuse the godly gift of sex and experience the fatal consequences because we don’t seek the purpose for these things.

Principle #5—IF YOU WANT TO KNOW THE PURPOSE OF A THING, NEVER ASK THE THING.

You will never find your purpose as long as you ask a creature who you are because a person or thing apart from its creator cannot know its purpose.
You may even come up with a purpose that isn’t God’s purpose and think that you are finally on the right track.

The futility of understanding God’s purposes apart from Him is graphically portrayed in the encounter between God and Job in the latter part of the Book of Job.
Job was a faithful worshiper of God who lost everything when God agreed that satan could test his faithfulness.

Job’s friends incessantly speculated, lectured, blamed and argued, trying to decide why Job was experiencing such misfortune.
When Job and his friends had ceased talking, God spoke to Job out of a storm.
Again and again He questioned Job’s understanding of things he could not know because they required knowledge of God’s purposes in creation.
Who are you to question My wisdom with your ignorant, empty words? Stand up now like a man and answer the questions I ask you.

Were you there when I made the world? If you know so much, tell Me about it. …What holds up the pillars that support the earth? … Have you any idea how big the world is? Answer Me if you know.
Do you know where the light comes from or what the source of darkness is? … Do you know the laws that govern the skies and can you make them apply to the earth? … Who is wise enough to count the clouds and tilt them over to pour out the rain …? Job, you challenged Almighty God; will you give up now, or will you answer? (Job 38:2-4,6a,18-19,33,37; 40:1-2 GN)

Obviously, Job could not answer because only God could tell him how the world was created to operate and why it was made that way.
The rain could not, neither could the light or the darkness.
 Finally, Job admitted defeat.
He would never know the reasons behind his experiences unless God explained them to him, because creatures can never know purpose apart from the creator.

Principle #6—PURPOSE IS ONLY FOUND IN THE MIND OF THE CREATOR.

If you want to know the purpose of a product, you must ask the manufacturer or his authorized representative.
The product, itself, cannot tell you.
That’s why most manufacturers put a label somewhere on their products or they give you similar information in an owner’s manual.

They want to teach you about the product and give you the opportunity to contact them if you have any questions about its purpose, use, operation or maintenance.
They know they must give you this information if the product is going to fulfill the purpose for which they made it.

This principle of asking the creator for the purpose of a thing is also evident in the story of a blind man healed by Jesus.
Jesus and His disciples were walking along when they saw a man who had been blind from birth. Jesus’ disciples immediately wanted to know why the man had been born blind.
Because their tradition said such things were the result of sin, they wanted to know if the man or his parents had sinned.
Jesus went straight to the root of the matter. “Neither this man nor his parents sinned … but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life” (John 9:3).

After Jesus had healed him, the blind man was questioned by everyone he met, including the Jewish authorities: “What happened to you?” “Aren’t you the blind man who used to beg by the gate?” “Where is this man who healed you?” “Don’t you know He’s a sinner?” The man didn’t attempt to explain why he had been healed, he simply told what he knew.

If the Jewish officials and everyone else wanted to know why he had been healed, they would have to ask Jesus like His disciples had, because only the originator of an action knows the purpose behind it.
Therefore, if you want to know the purpose of a thing, including yourself, you must discover who created it and submit to his knowledge. Only God knows the purpose for your life.

Principle #7—PURPOSE IS THE KEY TO FULFILLMENT.

Manufacturers always want the consumer to be satisfied with their product.
Labels and instruction books are their way of telling you what they had in mind when they created the product so you can compare that to your expectations when you bought it.
If the purpose of the manufacturer and the expectations of the purchaser don’t match, the product can’t possibly satisfy both the consumer’s desires and the manufacturer’s objectives.
Purpose dictates performance, which influences satisfaction.
Thus, purpose is the key to fulfillment.
Likewise, your purpose is the key to your life.
It tells you what you are supposed to do and why.
It reveals the reasons behind life’s experiences and demands, and supplies a vision for the future.
It also provides a perspective that gives life significance and meaning.
Apart from purpose, life seems fatalistic and haphazard, and the events of life become more important than the reasons behind them.
In essence, you will never experience true fulfillment and peace until you are executing the purpose for which you were born.
Just like a trumpet’s purpose is fulfilled when it is blown, a piano when it is skillfully played, a car when it is safely driven and a seed when it becomes a tree, even so your fulfillment is dependent on your discovering and fulfilling your purpose.

Too often we look at life carelessly.
We seek satisfaction in life’s activities without considering the purpose behind them.
God’s word is all-powerful.
When He determines a purpose for our lives, we will find fulfillment only when we are walking toward the end He has set.
God wants us to know His plans and purposes for our lives because He knows that apart from them we cannot know hope, peace and joy.
In all things, purpose is the key to fulfillment because it establishes the foundation on which all life must be built.

Ultimately PURPOSE is the center to which everything in life anchors on, without Purpose life's meaningless and not worth living.
Stay inspired and about the fulfillment of your purpose.

THE JOURNEY TOWARD LIFE'S FULFILLMENT #2

"THE NATURE OF PURPOSE"

This desire to understand the nature of something is an important part of learning.
The nature of a thing, by definition, is the “particular combination of qualities belonging to a person, animal, thing or class by birth, origin or constitution” or “the instincts or inherent tendencies that direct its conduct.” Thus, a study of the nature of purpose will reveal both the qualities that belong to purpose and the inherent tendencies that affect its behavior.
This topic would be best discussed under the following subtopics:

PURPOSE IS INHERENT
When a manufacturer creates a new product, he lets the product’s intended use govern the design, function and nature of the product so that the fulfillment of its purpose is inseparably built into it.

Purpose predicts the nature of something, and nature is that which a product inherently is.
Nature is always given for the express purpose of executing the manufacturer’s reason for creating the product.

When God creates men and women, He designs them to fulfill their function and gives them certain qualities and characteristics that enable them to perform His intended purpose.
These abilities are yours before birth.
They do not come to you when you receive Jesus and are reborn.
Thus, your natural inclinations to socialize with people or to seek solitude, to think with your mind or to do things with your hands, to communicate with words or to express yourself through the various art forms, to come up with the ideas or to put them into action, to lead or to follow, to inspire or to manage, to calculate or to demonstrate are part of your makeup and your personality from the time
God chose to make you and designed you in a particular way.

They relate to your purpose, which is a natural, innate, intimate part of who you are.
You are designed for your purpose.
You are perfect for your purpose.
Your purpose, your abilities and your outlook on life cannot be separated, because your purpose determines how you will function, which establishes how you are designed, which is related to your potential, which is connected to your natural abilities.

To remove your purpose would be to significantly change who you are, because your purpose both informs and reveals your nature and your responsibilities.
Everything you naturally have and inherently are is necessary for you to fulfill your purpose.
Your height, race, skin color, language, physical features and intellectual capacity are all designed for your purpose.

This is why it is very important and essential that you never try to become like someone else.
You can and should learn from others, but you must never become them.
You can never fulfill your purpose without being yourself.
Who and what you are is important and essential to why you are.
Purpose is why.

In new birth, God reclaims what is rightfully His.
He redirects the natural skills and abilities that satan perverted and employs them for the completion of His plans and purposes.
Taking away what is destroying you, He encourages you to rediscover all those things that you like to do. As He restores His anointing on your life, the power to perform with excellence reinstates the beauty and the perfection of your innate abilities.
Then He says, “Go ahead.
Do all you like to do for My glory and the advancement of My Kingdom.”

The biblical character of Moses is a good example of the inherent nature of purpose.
Moses was a man with a deliverance instinct.
He was born to be a deliverer.
Even before he met God, he wanted to set people free.
One day he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew.
When no one was looking, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.
The next day he saw two Hebrews fighting.
When he asked one of them, “Why are you hitting your fellow Hebrew?” the man replied, “Who made you ruler and judge over us?
Are you thinking of killing me as you killed the Egyptian?” (Exodus 2:13-14)
When Moses heard this, he became afraid and fled to a nearby country where he shepherded his father-in-law’s sheep (Exodus 2:1-3:1).
Years later, God reclaimed for His own purposes the deliverance and leadership skills that He had given to Moses.
He sent Moses to the Pharoah of Egypt to free the Israelites from slavery (Exodus 3:10).
God didn’t throw away the skills and the talents that had been with Moses from birth, He simply renewed them and redirected them to their intended use.

The purpose of Moses’ life didn’t change; the use of the gifts that fulfilled his purpose were simply redirected toward the purpose for which they had been given.
Those same gifts God had given Moses at birth—basic components of his makeup— brought freedom to the Israelites and glory to God.
In essence, Moses was equipped for his purpose, and so are you.

PURPOSE IS INDIVIDUAL
The individual nature of purpose is best seen in the various parts of a product.
Each has a unique function and design that enables it to meet the manufacturer’s reason for including it in the product.
This uniqueness doesn’t make the various parts unequal, just different.
In other words, you are the way you are because of why you are.

This same principle applies to men and women. God needs you because your purpose is unique.
He’s designed you specifically to meet His requirements.
No one has your fingerprint, your personality or your particular combination of natural skills and talents. Oh, they may look like you, but they aren’t you, because there’s a part of God only you can express.
In essence, there is something you came to this planet to do that the world needs in this generation.
Your birth is evidence that your purpose is necessary.

PURPOSE IS OFTEN MULTIPLE
Just as purpose is specific to a particular individual or product, even so that purpose may be varied and numerous.
As we have seen, God gave the lights He placed in the sky a variety of purposes.
The sun, for example, was created to 1) separate the day from the night, 2) mark the seasons, days and years, 3) govern the day, 4) separate light from darkness, and 5) give light to the earth (Genesis 1:14-18).

This multiple purpose is visible throughout creation.
Trees give us oxygen, shade and fruit; animals provide food and clothing; flowers beautify the earth, satisfy the bees’ need for nectar and supply pollen for the production of fruit; and men and women assume the varied roles of spouse, parent, worker, church member and friend.

With the multiplication of purpose always comes different scopes of vision, which require varied actions and responses.
Moses was both confidant and judge, suiting his actions and responses to meet the purpose he was fulfilling.
Knowing and understanding the variety of purposes that had claims on his life influenced how well he fulfilled his overall purpose as the leader of God’s people.
In some respects, his ability to meet the demands of this multiplicity of purpose was made possible by the interdependent nature of purpose.

He needed Joshua, Jethro and others to help him carry out his God-given purpose.
You were born with and for a purpose.
However, that purpose may incorporate many minor facets whose purposes or intents are to fulfill the greater, overall purpose for your life.

PURPOSE IS INTERDEPENDENT
Everything has a particular purpose that is linked to a greater purpose.
Or to say it another way, everything has a purpose larger than its specific end so that every individual purpose is fulfilled only when the personal task is pursued within the scope of the greater purpose and for its fulfillment.

Nothing exists for itself; everything is related to something else.
The moon provides a good example of the interdependent nature of purpose.
When God created lights and placed them in the sky, He made a greater light, the sun, and a lesser light, the moon.
The sun was given the task of ruling the day and the moon was designed to govern the night.
The moon is not created to shine—it has no light of its own—but to reflect light like a large mirror.
Thus, the moon catches the light of the sun and sends it back to the side of the earth that is away from the sun, providing light in the night.

That’s why the moon rotates in a certain position all year.
Although it appears differently to us on any given night of the month, the moon’s position does not change.
To fulfill its purpose, the moon must always remain in a position to catch the sun’s light and reflect it to the earth.
It also follows that the sun and the earth must remain in position for the moon to fulfill its purpose.
If the earth leaves its designated rotation around the sun or tilts on its axis farther than God’s design intended, the moon cannot do what it was created to do.

Or take a battery.
The purpose of a battery is to store energy until it is needed.
If the battery is never placed into a position that requires its stored energy, it cannot fulfill its purpose. The satisfaction of its purpose is related to its position in a product that has a larger purpose.
So a car battery cannot fulfill its purpose unless you turn the key in the ignition and allow the battery to send power to the engine, which starts the engine that powers the wheels that move the car.

Without all the other parts, neither the battery, the engine, the wheels nor the car can fulfill their purposes.
Everything needs something.
The world needs you and the purpose for which you were born.
You also need the purposes of others in order to fulfill your purpose.
Purpose cannot be fulfilled in isolation.
This same phenomenon of interdependent purpose is evident in the Church.
The apostle Paul uses the image of the body to describe this interrelatedness.
Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others (Romans 12:4-5).
… God has combined the members of the body and has given greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other.

If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.
Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it (1 Corinthians 12:24-27).
Thus, we see that the interrelatedness of the Church is part of God’s purpose.
He gives to each member a task that contributes to the Church’s overall purpose, thereby allowing the Church to grow and build “itself up in love, as each part does its work” (Ephesians 4:16).

Nothing exists for itself.
Everything is part of a larger purpose.
Can you imagine? Not even God could fulfill His purpose without the cooperation of His creation.
Just suppose the tree on which Jesus died had refused to become a tree or if Joseph of Arimathea had not purchased the tomb in which Jesus was destined to lay.
Your purpose is designed to affect history within and beyond your generation.
You are a necessary part of the world’s population and a vital link in this generation.
We need your purpose.

PURPOSE IS PERMANENT
Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails (Proverbs 19:21).
God has also given purpose the quality of permanence.
Once a manufacturer designs, produces and markets a product that fulfills a certain purpose, he doesn’t change that purpose because a consumer doesn’t like the way it works.
He may change the design or the components or the materials used in the components, but he will not change the purpose, because the purpose behind the product is what gives it meaning.

In other words, plans might change, but purpose is constant.
What God wants is established, but how He gets it may vary.
This quality of purpose combats the many plans and schemes that we come up with to meet our God-intended reason for life.

PURPOSE IS RESILIENT
Related to the quality of permanence is the characteristic of resiliency in purpose.
When a manufacturer sets a purpose for a product and develops a plan to achieve that purpose, no amount of problems with the manufacturing process will change the product’s purpose.

No matter how bad things become, the manufacturer will not say, “We’re having trouble getting this product to do what we want it to do, so let’s have it do this instead.”
Each difficulty that seeks to hinder progress toward the completion of a product that fulfills the manufacturer’s original intent is used to learn more about the product and the way it must naturally function to carry out its purpose.

The journey may include bumps and detours, but eventually it will come to the desired end.
In other words, no matter how bad the process becomes, the manufacturer uses the problems for good as he incorporates the insight gained from the challenges to build a superior product that does all it’s supposed to do.

If you have made decisions that have interfered with God’s plan and purpose for your life, He has arranged a reformation program to redeem the detours.
He uses the experiences to refine you as a purposeful part of the whole.
Purpose transforms mistakes into miracles and disappointments into testimonies.

This resiliency of purpose is evident in the lives of many people who have missed their purpose.
They had great talent, but they didn’t know what they were supposed to do with it.
I think of the apostle Paul. He intrigues me. Paul, or Saul as he was known before he met Christ on the road to Damascus, was a very talented person.

Although Paul’s natural talents and skills were initially used in opposition to his God-given task of carrying the Good News of Jesus to the Gentiles, his purpose did not change.
God changed his name but not his purpose. Purpose remains true no matter what path a person or a thing takes to achieve its intended goal.
God’s purpose is not hindered by your past.
He turned a coward (Gideon) into a mighty leader (Judges 6-8), and a murderer (Moses) into a deliverer (Exodus 3).
He also turned a prostitute (the Samaritan woman Jesus met at the well of Jacob) into a preacher (John 4:1-42).
Imagine what He could make of you.
You are not too old to resume your purpose.
Nothing you have done can cancel your purpose.
The world is waiting for you to produce your purpose.

PURPOSE IS UNIVERSAL
No manufacturer goes to the trouble to design, produce and market a product for which he has no purpose. Who would want a useless thing?
Thus, everything has a purpose.
Or, to say it another way, the gift of purpose is universal.
Nothing is created without a purpose behind the making.
This principle is evident in nature.
Every human being, every living thing, indeed everything that exists, has been chosen by God to fulfill His purposes.
We all have part of this universal purpose.
When God chose the sun, He chose it for a purpose.
Then He created it with the ability to complete its purpose.
God also chose the mosquito and designed into it everything it needs to fulfill its reason for being.
The oceans, too, were created by God to perform the tasks He dictated for them before they were completed.
Nothing is outside God’s universal purpose.
Whenever this commonness of purpose is not recognized, death occurs.

Most of humanity has lost sight of our universal purpose, we are not fulfilling all that God purposed for our lives.
That failure to live out all that God put us here to do has not changed God’s purpose.
His desire to see all men and women know life as He intended it, so strong that He has tried again and again throughout the history of man to redirect us into His predestined path.
The life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is His final attempt.
Through Him we can move from death to life.
Through Him we can rediscover our God-given universal purpose.
Not one person on this planet is outside that will of God, for He has chosen each of us to share in His glory. Thus, no matter how your life started or how bad it has been, you are not a mistake.
God intended for you to live, both physically and spiritually.
He would not have allowed you to be born if you were not included in His universal purposes.
You are necessary.
You are essential.

The universality of purpose is something we can cling to when life becomes meaningless and without value. Together with the intrinsic, individual, multiple, interdependent, permanent and resilient qualities of purpose, it gives us an assurance that we are not mistakes.
God had a purpose for us when He planted us in our mothers’ wombs.
That purpose has not changed.
The challenge that lies before us is to understand the basic principles that underlie purpose so we can recognize purpose at work in our lives and allow it to guide and redirect our paths.
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart …

A JOURNEY TOWARD LIFE'S FULFILMENT#1

Everything in life has a purpose.
Everyone on this planet was born with and for a purpose.
It is this purpose that is the only source of meaning.
Without purpose, life is an experiment or a haphazard journey that results in frustration, disappointment and failure.

Without purpose, life is subjective, or it is a trial and error game that is ruled by environmental influences and the circumstances of the moment.
Likewise, in the absence of purpose, time has no meaning, energy has no reason and life has no precision. Therefore, it is essential that we understand and discover our purpose in life so that we can experience an effective, full and rewarding life.

Purpose, therefore, is the original intent in the mind of the creator that motivated him to create a particular item.
It is the why that explains the reason for existence.
Every product is a child of purpose.
In other words, before any product is made, there is a purpose established in the mind of the manufacturer that gives conception to the idea that becomes the substance for the design and production of the product.
Thus, purpose precedes production.

Every product is produced by purpose for a purpose.
It exists for its original purpose and thus can find its true fulfillment only in performing the purpose for which it was created.
Until purpose is discovered, existence has no meaning.

Let us consider, for example, a mobile phone.
If it were possible for us to enter the mind of the person who invented this product, we might see a desire or an intent to create a medium through which people could communicate with each other without seeing themselves physically regardless of the distance between them, thus enhancing a free flow of information transition between the two parties.
This intent would be established both as the desired end or result and the predetermined purpose for the product, which is the first stage of production.

After the purpose of the product has been determined, the second stage of production follows, which is the development of a design to produce the function that will fulfill the purpose.
The design dictates the necessary components and materials for production, which is then incorporated into the product’s specifications.
When all the drawings, specifications and designs are completed and the materials have been procured, production can begin.

It is essential to note that the production of the product does not begin until the purpose for the product has been established, and the success of the project is not determined until the product does exactly what its purpose requires.
Thus, all things begin and end with purpose.

This principle pervades all creation.
Nature abounds with evidence of this eternal law.
The Master Manufacturer of all created things has made all His creations for a definite purpose and has established that purpose as the ultimate definition of success.
You and I are products of His purposeful creation.

Your Purpose Is an Integral Part of You
Like the manufacturer who created the mobile phone for a specific purpose, so God created you with a definite purpose in mind.
Your existence is evidence that this generation needs something that your life contains.
You are the creation that can meet God’s desired result.

Consummating that purpose does not just happen as a by-product of life.
You are responsible for the intentional fulfillment of your purpose so the world may benefit from your contribution, just like millions of people are benefiting from the purpose of the mobile phone.
In essence, you were born for a purpose and with a purpose.
Your personal fulfillment is possible only in so far as you complete your destiny.

The discovery of your personal purpose and its relationship to God’s universal purpose must be the basis from which you live.
You must strive to be who you were born to be.
As you discover who you are, you will learn that your purpose, your identity, your uniqueness and your potential are interdependent.
You cannot truly “know thyself,” until you discover your purpose.
This is true because known purpose reveals the particular components God built into you to enable you to achieve all that He prepared for you.

Nothing is truly yours until you understand it—not even yourself.
Some people are born knowing what they want to do and even how to do it.
The rest of us must spend hours figuring out what to do with our lives.
Vague goals such as “I want to be happy,” “I want to make the world a better place to live,” or even “I want to be rich” are nearly useless.
We must ask the primary question
—“Why am I here?”—and reply with an unqualified answer—“To be myself and to express myself fully.”
Concern for doing the right thing rather than a desire to do things right must always guide you.
That right thing is the purpose for which God created you and gave you breath.
You are special and unique.
God made you from an original mold, then threw it away when you were completed.

Check out your uniqueness and find out what differentiates you from the billions of people who inhabit this planet.
Then pursue your aspiration deliberately and consistently.
Be what you are.
Capitalize on the natural skills and talents with which you were born, and don’t lose them.
When others belittle your special gifts and try to remake you according to their plans and purposes, refuse to yield to their domination.
Don’t let anyone prevent you from becoming and doing all that you were born to be and do.

Remember, if you don’t deploy yourself, others will soon employ you.
Above all else, pursue purpose with a passion and experience the reason for your life.
The purposes of a man’s heart are deep waters, but a man of understanding draws them out.
Proverbs 20:5

LIVING ABOVE THE STANDARDS OF THE SOCIETY

Last I talked about self imposed limitations people have placed on themselves and the way forward, here's the flip side with societal influence on people's mind and what it has made out of most people in every society.

The society has become such an expert in making people an intelligent mediocre by imposing standards and rules that automatically dictates how and what they should become of themselves to the point that they give up on themselves and let loose of their true identities, passions and Dreams.
They've thought people to behave and conform instead of Releasing, pouring and contributing that part of them to improving the society, in order words just shotup and bahave, this sound contradictory, but it shows how selfish the society can be ,as long as they're making their returns from exploiting it citizens , life according to them is good.
They've thought people to think inside of the box only.
They've thought people to be grounded at all times never to brake the rules they've set to limit our abilities, talents and skills.
They've thought people what they can and can't do with their lives.
They've told people how high they can fly and how far they can dream and envision their lives.

The society has also trained people to become experts in doing what they're told and not what's right.
The reason is because no society wants people in it to be wise and knowledgeable so they won't have to challenge her or ask questions whatsoever, instead they want to have them as subjugates, slaves and sarvants which they can be dictated for and have their mind brainwashed with their own perspective about life to the extent that when they're done with them they'd feel worthless.

This are mere dorms of the society set by fellow men with ulterior motives and not God's principles for who they were meant to be!!!
I dare you to brake free from this entanglements and start living your true self,  your true identity and your true purpose.

Atimes I hear people make statement like..."Sorry it's never done that way here, you better do as you're told or you quit". Well for me there's nothing wrong with people of such mind-set because I believe people are entitled to their opinions but the challenge here is if only they knew better probably they would understand that nobody has to live their lives to the standards of the society or to conform to the Successes as defined by the society.
Societal success and perceptions about life are all geared toward making you arive too soon and too small compared to what you could and should have accomplish following God's principles and purpose for your life.

The good news is that life is about choices,  you can decide to live your life through the society or wake up to the realities of your Potentials, Passion and Dreams and become who you are at the depth of your heart regardless of what anybody thinks.
Often times we think we know ourselves enough but the truth is that what we know about ourselves are based on past experiences and achievements but we're completely unaware of what we are capable of doing and achieving, only if you knew the real you and what you are capable of doing, fear of failing, self doubt and low self-esteem won't be your companion.
This is why I believe being who you are at the core of yourself is the pivot to which you could know yourself the best.

There's so much about you that you don't know yet ,all you've known about you are the once you've allowed yourself to know, stretch out yourself some more and you'd be surprised how high you're capable of soaring,  fine time and create time for yourself just for the purpose of knowing who you truly are and not the identity and the label society has placed on you.
Could it be that many people enjoy others company because they don't like their own company? In my opinion I would say most likely.
People can only enjoy your company when you love and value your own company.
Solitude should be part of our to do list daily because that's when you can reconcile all parts of your lives together in a sync...It's a time were you can improve and work on yourself for the best.

How can this be achieved, Start becoming Who you are from Where you are with What you have because that glorious destiny you've been envisioning can only become a reality by an action step in a forward direction inspired by Conviction, fueled by Passion which is ignited by a Vision derived from a clear sense of Purpose.

Always remember that we all 're responsible for the temporal  positions we're now and the difference between were we are now and were we should be depends on how much we believe in ourselves and our dreams because there's absolutely nothing that can stop an hungry lion from seeing an elephant as lunch, height and weight regardless...as long as there's passion, an obstacle can only but become a stepping stone towards your achieving greatness.
Determination, Planning and Action guarantees success and fulfillment of dreams.

Stay blessed.

WAKE UP CALL

Have you thought of moving into your own personal greatness?
Going against the tides is the only option.
You've got to tell yourself that in spite of what life has thrown on you , am still in charge.
You've got to tell yourself I'm in control here, I decide the course of my life and I say when it's over.
Am not going to let this get me down or destroy me instead am going to ride on the wings of the storms like the Eagles.

It isn't your circumstances or situations that will determine whether you'd be successful or not but your mind-set toward the circumstances that will guarantee your SUCCESS.
A lot of people give up too soon in life, in their careers, businesses and above all in their destinies simply because the lost the battle in their mind.
Friends lemme remind you about something you'd already know...
Your mind is a battle - field and everything in existence today originated from the mind both the good and the bad once.
It depends on how you want the battle to end...It's always between you and your mind.

Everything that's visible to our sight today was sometime an image in someone's mind that took a battle before it made it into existence.
Imagine if they had given up on themselves due to the circumstances that might have surrounded them as the case may be.
Good news is that they decided to win the battle in their mind rather than giving into defeat.
Let me also remind you of one of my favorite verses in the bible..."As a man thinks in his heart, so is he".
This is so true because We're the sum total of our thoughts, not more not less.
Factually, what fills our thoughts are simply what we read, listen to and watch...This sums up to our thoughts.
So now you know how to influence your thoughts so as to influence your life positively.

This goes futher to affirm that most atimes the person we often accuse as the enemy isn't the devil but the person we see when looking at the mirror.
We're our own enemy, as a matter of truth there's no enemy without except the enemy within.
We're so afraid of what we can't that what we can actually do ends up being muffled and suffocated.
As had as it may sound, most of the limitation we've noticed in our lives aren't placed on us by the government or the society but rather by ourselves.
We often allow the fears of the unknown to consume us of the exciting passion for discovering the unknown itself. ..what a tragedy.

I rather not say I hate it when people say I can't do this or that due to the limitations and fears they have placed on themselves but instead I believe that either ways they're right in saying "I can do it" or "I can't do it".
The difference between them is simply their mindset, one sees an opportunity to make history the other sees how history has recorded that it has never been done...like i said earlier its your mindset.

It's sad when I hear people spend so much time and energy worrying about their fear of the future while in the present. My question would be...If you invest that much time and energy worrying today about tomorrow, what then would you be doing when that tomorrow finally becomes the present.
Don't get me wrong there's a big difference between worries and planning, and that will be that one will have detrimental effect on your health and the other will guarantee a stress free transition from were you are to were you should be.

Truth is, insecure people worry...firm and decisive people make plans and stick to their priorities.
You can attest to the fact that ninety percent of what we're often afraid of was in the end "False Evidence Appearing Real"(FEAR).

That's why I believe that the best way to predict the future is to invent it with a plan which must have originated from the battle field of your mind.
Never give up on yourself or your dreams because as long as there's breath in you, the journey toward greatness isn't over yet.

I guess my final words for now will be...for us all to change the world around us as we anticipate, we need to change our innermost personality, our true self by changing our MINDS.
We can only be transformed by the renewal of our minds, then shall we know what's perfect and acceptable will of God for our lives.

Trust me you are more than what you assume yourself to be, determined to free yourself from worrying about tomorrow, let tomorrow think for itself , make plans and prioritize your time. Embrace each day as a gift and make the most of it. Dare to aspire for the best, think the unthinkable, imagine the unimaginable and dream with limitless possibilities because as a man thinks in his heart so he will eventually become.

THE POWER OF ATTITUDE

Attitude is simply define as "the mind-set or mental conditioning that determines our interpretation of and response to our environments."
It's our way of thinking.
It is also important to understand that attitude is a natural product of the integration of our self-worth, self-concepts, self-esteem, and sense of value or significance.
In essence, your attitude is the manifestation of who you think you are.
Leaders think differently about themselves, and this distinguishes them from followers.

There is nothing as powerful as attitude.
Attitude dictates your response to the present and determines the quality of your future.
You are your attitude, and your attitude is you.
If you do not control your attitude, it will control you.

Attitude creates your world and designs your destiny.
It determines your success or failure in any venture in life.
More opportunities have been lost, withheld, and forfeited because of attitude than from any other cause. Attitude is a more powerful distinction in life than beauty, power, title, or social status.
It is more important than wealth and it can keep one poor.
It is the servant that can open the doors of life or close the gates of possibility.
It can make beauty ugly and homeliness attractive.
Credentials can take you to the top but it's your attitude that will keep you there.
The distinguishing factor between a leader and a follower is ATTITUDE.

The story of the lion and the sheep demonstrates the power of attitude.
We live our attitudes and our attitudes create our lives.
The difference between the attitudes of a lion and a sheep determines their place in the scheme of the animal kingdom.
Perhaps that is why the Creator, as recorded in the books of the Hebrew writer Moses and other biblical writers, identifies himself with the unique temperaments or natures of certain animals.

We live our lives based on who we think we are.
According to the illustration, if you believe in your heart that you are a sheep, then you will stay in the confines that others have placed you in or that you have made for yourself.
If you think that you are a lion, then you will venture beyond manmade limitations and embark on the life of #leadership that you were born to live.
You will develop into someone who inspires and influences others within your inherent domain.

No amount of training in #leadership skills, courses in management methods, power titles, promotions, or associations can substitute for the right attitudes.
I am convinced that all the money in the world may make you rich, but it can never make you a leader. Your #leadership development is determined by your perceptions of who you are and why you exist in other words, your sense of significance to life.

HOW TO DEVELOP YOUR PERSONAL VISION

The following Eight words will guarantees it SUCCESS
PURPOSE
PASSION
POTENTIALS
PLANNING
PEOPLE
PERSISTENCE
PRINCIPLES
PRAYERS

Let's focus today on PLANNING
You must stop sit down and plan if you are going to fulfill your vision.
Success is the orderly ongoing advancement toward your goal.
Success is ariving at the place you'v plan and determined to arive.
God desires your success more than you desires it yourself.

God commands us to establish the goal that will lead us to our vision.
Failure to plan like they say is planning to fail but people sometimes make plans but do not follow through with the plan either because of laziness or procrastination.
But the key is that you must plan your work and work your plan.

Planning is faith and faith is planning.
This is true because faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.
This means that the evidence of things not seen by anybody had to come from a plan.
Therefore faith is giving the unseen a substance by writing it down or by drawing them.
In this manner you have transferred that substance from the unseen to a seen reality; this is planning.

The ability to document the future is faith.
To capture that which does not exist and put it down is planning.
God is a God of faith and faith is believing on God's promises.
Faith demands a plan.
Most Christian drift along without a plan and expect miracle to fall from Heaven like manner.
Here's something interesting about God that you didn't know:God has a plan for you but He doesn't plan for you.

So planning is therefore the highest expression of faith in God because we plan for things we believe in.
It's through planning the we can capture God's will for our lives.
Planning gives definition to faith.
Planning pulls God's promises from eternity into time.
Planning documents vision.
Without a plan life has no definition.
Without a plan life has no meaning.
Without a vision the people perishes the Bible says.

A plan is a captured vision and without a plan there's no self control and goals management.
Therefore understand that faith is expressed in planning and planning is faith.
This is why the Bible makes it clear that faith without work is death.
So planning without work equals failure.

God himself is evident of faith, planning and success so studying God's principles of faith, planning and works will ultimately results in the fulfillment of your purpose and Visions for living.
Also note that many are the plans in the heart of a man but it's the Lord's purpose that will prevail.
Plans are changeable but purpose is not, meaning that plans are like variables but purpose is always constant.

Note that , not fulfilling your plans doesn't mean that you are out of God's will.
That you failed in your previous plans doesn't mean that it was God but it simply requires a change of plans.
It's important that you sit down with your plans and break it down in details so as to eliminate any possible errors, this of course has to be with leadership and inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
Failure is simply another way to do it better, and a much better opportunity to start again.
Don't quit until you win because you only loose when you quit.

Here's a quick review of how a perfect plan should proceed:
Identify God's purpose for your life.
Document an overview plan.
Sit down with the overview plan and break it down into little details.
Estimate time and duration to each detailed plan.
Get the necessary information and knowledge required to ease the fulfillment of the plan.
Present that plan to God for approval and provisions.
Don't be afraid of the cost because it's the Lord's to explain it's fulfillment.
Be ready to sacrifice all for the success of the plan.
Be willing to die for what you are living for.
Be willing to work the plan with all passion even to the point of sacrificing your life for it because true plans and purpose are not self seeking but to serve others.

Planning rushes heaven into action because God can only multiply what we present before him.
Plan are the desires of the heart and God said I will grant you all the desires of your heart (plans  emanating from God's purpose for your life).
This is true because the plans of the righteous are right.

It's funny how many people pray, for example some say:
Oh Lord help me...and the answer will be TO DO WHAT?
Oh Lord direct my steps...and the answer will be TO WHERE?
Oh Lord bless me...and the answer will be FOR WHAT?

So it therefore means that if you do not have any plans, then God has nothing to HELP YOU WITH AND BLESS YOU because God does not waste resources where it's not needed and If you don't have a plan, then God can't direct you TO NO WERE because no were isn't a destination.

This is how important it is to have a plan for your life and destiny because God can only lead, direct, approve, guide, bless, prosper and multiply a documented plan presented before him.

Please take time to meditate on this nuggets carefully, it will broadens your knowledge about planning from the wisest King that has ever lived.  King Solomon.
